Oh my gosh the resturant is the best. Cheryl is wonderful. I have loved every meal I ever ate there. Today was a breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast. All was cooked perfectly as always. Coffee was hot and fresh. The resturant is always super clean and cheerful. I am trying to think if there is anything I could complain about. The answer is NOPE not a thing.

This place is definitely NOT a KOA or RV resort but it has lots of character and feels authentic. Full hookups work fine and it has the best wi-fi I've ever experienced in my travels. Good thing too, since there's no Verizon connection available for data and the phone connection is spotty too. Right on the Arkansas River but not really near to anything. Good place to get away from it all. The shower/toilet facility is a trip.

I stayed at possibly the most beautiful place on earth. The proprietor Rick went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed myself. Truly the quietest place on earth. Thanks for the great time.

This park is small and rustic. Owner is making improvements daily. Right on the river with a very good restaurant. The people are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed here in a 45 foot motorhome and had plenty of room. We will definitely be back but next time we'll stay longer.

Closest to the river you will get. 10 sites about 50' from the river. Hookups are all legit for your camper or RV. it's totally kid and dog friendly but there isn't a playground. Its quiet and has amazing views. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are all about, maybe they like the RV campground nazism that you typically get. Just be respectful and you'll be treated with respect. I've stayed at the motel as well, it's okay, a bed and warm water. Internet works great all around the site. Owner is a pretty good dude that cares and works hard. It's about a 15-20 min drive to Salida.
